O God, Father of us all, we extend these final earthly tributes to our beloved comrade.  Accept our prayers in behalf of the soul of Thy servent departed.  Welcome him to Thy house to rest in peace.  Look with mercy upon the loved ones bereaved by his passing.  Comfort and console them through Thine own tenderness.  These things we ask humbly in Thy name.  Amen.

We were truly blessed to be neighbors to Sam in Knoxville, Iowa.  He was a charming, thoughtful neighbor and all three generations of our family will truly miss him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  May he rest in eternal peace. 

What an honor to have known and loved Sam (Sham). We go back a long way. I had this thing for eating out of the most beautiful blue plate in the world. He knew it and did all he could to keep me from getting it. He was just that way, making lasting impacts on others lives. May God bless the family with great memories shared with a great man.

To the Family of Sam Jefferson, I was saddened to hear of Sam's passing and I shall always remember Sam with warm thoughts, and although many miles and many years separate us I will always remember the times I would spend in the Jefferson Household. I learned a lot from being around Mr. Jefferson ( Sam Sr.) which contributed to my being a better man, and I thank you for that Mr. Jefferson. God bless you all

My sympathy is extended to the family of Samuel Jefferson, Jr. Growing up as children we always referred to him as Jr. May God continue to bless the family especially during these dark hours. Bobbi Marks-Cooper, cousin in Rockford, IL.

We remember Sam so vividly!  I, Mary McAfee remember the talks Sam & I would have @ Caterpillar when I would call concerning Parts for Caterpillar.  Sam was so comical during our talks that it made our days at Caterpillar so worth while.  Sam you will be missed!!  To the Jefferson family, you have the McAfee's Condolences @ this time.  Be blessed is our prayer!!
